FENTANYL

The Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor for the City of New York came to BAM with one goal: Make NYC aware of the deadly danger of Fentanyl, a drug 50X stronger than heroin.

Most people have never heard of it, but Fentanyl kills 3X more New Yorkers than guns and is 100 times stronger than Morphine. To spread awareness about the lethal effects of Fentanyl, we installed three tombstones in Washington Square Park for The Recovery Spot. The activation, 3 actual granit tombstones, were a stop in your tracks moment for thousands of people walking through the park. The tombstones drew attention to a grave problem that has claimed innocent lives in New York City. A lot of tears were shed, many emotional stories were told, and hopefully, a few lives were saved.
